The number on the left side of the Inventory List tells you how many items you have.
You can press and to scroll through them and choose an item. Your Inventory Button (Default ), gives you a list of all the items you collect. It won't however point you in the direction you need to go, so you'll have to figure that out yourself. If you get lost you can use this to help guide you. The Computer Button (Default ), will give you a box telling you what your Primary and Secondary Objectives are, how many secrets there are in the level your playing and the number of enemies and objectives there are in the level your in. This can be accessed in the Options Menu of the game. You can customize the controls in the game to make things easier for yourself.
